Whether one agrees with the stances that Austin Lunn takes or not, there’s no question that he has a gift for making people think and feel in a way that is rare today. He’s never been a nihilist and he gives me hope for humanity. The progression of Panopticon’s music doesn’t diminish my love of this album, in fact it resonates with me now more than in the past. Utterly indescribable new record from Greek metal band Locust Leaves features corkscrewing tempos, manic vocal shifts & dense arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 6, 2017
I added this album to my collection after discovering ISOLERT's latest top album "World in Ruins". Released back in 2016 "No Hope, No Light...Only Death" is similar in style, means a well balanced black metal mixture of melodic and harsh elements. In total the album appears more unpolished and not all songs are as virtuosic and catchy as nowadays, but this release is still a recommended addition to the black metal collection for all metalheads who enjoyed "World in Ruins" as much as I did.
